Roskosmos Holding has developed a stand for full-scale testing of equipment in space

Russian Space Systems JSC (part of Roskosmos. – socialbites.ca) has developed a stand for full-scale testing of equipment in space, reports TASS With reference to the Federal Industrial Property Institute document.

According to the agency, the booth includes a platform for placing test blocks and test equipment. The device will consist of two blocks, internal and external. The platform where the test equipment is located and the outdoor unit will be placed directly in space, while the indoor unit will be inside the spacecraft’s pressurized compartment. Both blocks will be connected electrically and informationally using a wired channel.

It has been clarified that it is impossible to create such conditions for testing on-board equipment in the world.

Dmitry Rogozin, former CEO of Roskosmos said On the preservation of the dependence of the USA on Russian cosmonautics. As the head of the state agency noted, the Russian Federation is against the steps taken by the West in the field of space science. Rogozin also said that Roskosmos has stopped supplying RD-180 rocket engines to the United States.
