Russian opposition increases pressure to block Putin’s international recognition after elections

Representantes de la oposición rusa han hecho este miércoles un nuevo llamamiento a los países occidentales para que no reconozcan a Vladimir Putin como presidente tras su previsible victoria en las próximas elecciones en Rusia, que tendrán lugar a mediados de marzo. En una rueda de prensa este miércoles en Londres, la viuda del exespía ruso Alexander Litvinenko –asesinado en el Reino Unido en 2006 por los servicios secretos rusos– ha insistido en la falta de transparencia en el proceso electoral y en la imposibilidad de la oposición de ejercer un contrapeso en el país, algo que convierte a Putin en un presidente ilegítimo
