New pistols and machine guns accepted by Russian police 16:24

The press service of the Kalashnikov concern stated that the AK-12, AK-15 assault rifles and the Lebedev MPL1 modular pistol were accepted by Russian internal affairs institutions. This was reported by TASS.

The concern emphasized that the decree of the government of the Russian Federation on the adoption of machine guns and pistols for the arsenal of Russian police officers was signed by the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin.

General Director of the Kalashnikov Concern Andrey Baryshnikov statedHe said the concern plans to start production of the modernized AK-12 assault rifle by the end of the year.

Before that, the defense construction organization High Precision Complexes, which is part of Rostec, had reported on the supply of new weapons to Russian troops. The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation have received new PP-2000 submachine guns, AGS-30 automatic grenade launchers and GM-94 grenade launchers, the company said. It is stated that before sending the weapon to the troops, experts tested the weapon and adjusted the aiming systems.
