A person living in India was included in the Guinness Book of Records as the longest hair in the world, it says NDTV. The length of her curls is 255 cm.
As 46-year-old Smita Srivastava says, she hasn’t cut her hair since she was 14.
“In Indian culture, goddesses traditionally had very long hair. “In our society, cutting hair is considered inconvenient,” explains the woman’s choice.
The Indian woman said she washes her hair twice a week. The entire process, including washing, drying and styling, takes about three hours. As a rule, Smita braids her hair in braids or twists them into a bun.
And if Srivastava goes out on the street with her hair down, according to her, people are pleasantly impressed by what they see.
“People come up to me, touch my hair, take selfies with me and ask what kind of shampoo I use,” says the record holder.
