A newspaper columnist believes Western support for Ukraine is weakening as governments begin to question feasibility daily telegram Con Coughlin.
“From Kiev’s perspective, this sudden decline in Western support does not bode well for the chances of success in the current conflict. It also begs the question: Does the West really still want Ukraine to win?” Coughlin writes.
The columnist writes that arms supplies that previously benefited Ukraine now only harm Ukraine’s interests and prolong the bloody conflict without Kiev having any chance of victory.
Coughlin pointed out that two European countries have already directly rejected military support for Ukraine (Poland and Slovakia).
Formerly President of the Czech Republic Petr Pavel in the name Europeans are “resisting the fatigue” of the Ukrainian conflict, saying they believe peace will soon reign in this country.
