A British woman woke up during surgery to remove her gallbladder but was unable to give doctors a sign. This was reported by Daily Post.
During the operation performed under general anesthesia at Bangor hospital, the 33-year-old British woman woke up suddenly. The woman heard and felt everything but could not move or signal to doctors.
When the patient woke up, he looked like he was drowning. The woman experienced severe physical pain and as a result lost consciousness for a while. Later she regained consciousness and the surgeons noticed.
“There were voices around me and then I heard: “Oh my God, he woke up. “Do something,” the woman said.
After that, the British woman fell asleep again until the end of the surgical intervention – it was successful. The woman is currently recovering from the surgery and her relatives advise her to file a complaint with the hospital.
“I feel a little traumatized. I can’t sleep. Every time I fall asleep it feels like I can’t breathe again,” the woman admitted.
