More than a thousand runners from the Moscow region and other regions participated in the 4th historical extreme race “Zaraysk Bison Race”.
The run has been going on since 2019. The event is supported by the Presidential Grant Fund, the main social communication department of the region, the Ministry of Physical Culture and Sports of the Moscow Region.
“The idea of the Zaraysk Bison Race came to our youth four years ago. Every year the project grew and attracted more and more people. Together with the Presidential Grant Fund, we support this great initiative. More than 1,200 adults and 110 children took part in the race today – and many of them have participated in events from past years.

Participants competed in a speed and endurance race at a distance of 7.5 km. The winners were determined in 4 offsets: men’s, mixed (each team of 4 had to have at least one woman), men’s doubles and mixed doubles. The organizers also prepared a safe half kilometer track for children aged 6-9, 10-11 and 12-13 years old.
