Ukrainian Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki confirmed that Ukraine has purchased 100 Polish-made Rosomak armored personnel carriers (ZPTs) from Poland. It has been reported Polish Radio 24.
On Saturday, April 1, the Polish prime minister spoke at a factory where these armored personnel carriers are produced.
“Yesterday, I received an order for 100 Rosomaks produced here from Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmygal,” Morawiecki said.
Rosomak is planned to be paid out of funds from European and American funds allocated to Kiev by the partners.
The Polish politician also pointed out that the development of the defense industry is gradually “gaining momentum”.
It is waiting for new orders for military equipment from Poland, Slovenia and Saudi Arabia.
