Bundeswehr MP Hofreiter: Bundeswehr fighters not eligible to be sent to Ukraine 14:48

The head of the Bundeswehr Committee on European Affairs, Anton Hofreiter, from the ranks of the Green Party, said that the warplanes serving in the Bundeswehr are not suitable for transport to Kiev. The politician said Germany should not veto the supply of fighter jets from Poland and the Czech Republic to Ukraine, “even if such aircraft come from the stockpiles of East Germany”, but cautioned against the supply of modern Bundeswehr fighters.
