Tatyana Solomatina, vice-chairman of the State Duma Committee for the Protection of Health, warned that opponents of vaccines in Russia can be equated with extremists, as their activities harm the health of citizens. She said this in an interview with the deputy. ura.ru.
According to him, there are many people on the anti-vaccine committees, many of whom can be sincerely mistaken in their views.
At the same time, Solomatina emphasized that the authorities often do not have enough resources or opportunities to regulate the activities of this category of people in social networks, because they attract a large number of people, especially young mothers, to their side.
“If their activities are already in some way affecting the lives and health of our citizens, the option of recognizing them as extremist organizations is possible,” said the parliamentarian.
He suggested that among those who are against the vaccine, there may be those who want to reduce Russia’s population and that they can work on order. According to Solomatina, there are certain structures that say not to get vaccinated. The MP called this war “but on a different front”.
Previously reported in Moscow closed an underground printing press that caters to anti-vaccination opponents.
