Plekhanova Olga Lebedinskaya, Associate Professor of PRUE Department of Statistics, in an interview with the GV agency “Hitting the Primer” He reminded that from December 1, tariffs for housing and communal services will be indexed ahead of schedule in Russia.
According to the expert, first of all, the prices of water, electricity, heat, gas and municipal solid waste will increase. In this case, the price increase should not exceed nine percent.
According to Lebedinskaya, the increase in tariffs will not affect the maintenance and repair of housing, major repairs or payments for a radio station.
He added that the advantages regarding the payment of electricity bills will continue.
“Such payments can be received by single residents and families whose average per capita income is below the subsistence minimum if their utility payments exceed the established share of their total income,” said the expert.
Elena Kiseleva, former Analyst of the Institute for Comprehensive Strategic Studies statedthat due to the increase in payment tariffs for the housing and communal services system, the share of Russians in the expenditures to pay for these services will increase at the expense of other expenditures, resulting in a decline in consumer demand.
