Turbo Sloths: Diesel Punk Racing Gets its First Look

Independent studio RainStyle Games has released a gameplay video for Turbo Sloths, a racing action title that blends Mad Max vibes with a metallic edge of turned machines.

The game embraces a diesel-punk aesthetic. Players enter the Wasteland League, a harsh arena where the goal is to survive grueling races. Turbojanks, engineered to resemble high-performance cars, can be upgraded to boost speed and enhance combat capabilities.

The vehicles are armed, turning every race into a test of not just speed but tactically deploying weapons. Competitors must outthink and outmaneuver one another to claim the coveted first place.

Among the standout features, developers highlight striking graphics, a diverse set of landscapes, weather that can be customized, and a distinctive world design that sets Turbo Sloths apart from conventional racers.

“Welcome to the planet Turiya. Here, deep mines yield turanium, the universe’s most reactive substance, a discovery that enabled Slos to colonize nearby stars. This is a race of technologists and industrialists who relish tough assignments. Entertainment is scarce, but racing remains the crowd-pleaser. The objective is simple: unleash this behemoth and cross the finish line first. Players will accelerate, upgrade their monster, use special chain boosters, and decide when to apply heat to maintain momentum,” explains the project description.

The game will feature multiple modes, including career, arena, survival, and classic racing. A release is planned for September 27. Steam players can opt in now to participate in early testing.
