Russian development studio Zelart unveils an action adventure titled There Is No Light, now available on Steam, GOG, and the Epic Games Store. The game invites players into a dystopian world where survival hinges on daring exploration and tough choices.
After a catastrophic event nearly erases humanity, survivors retreat underground and establish a new faith centered on a mysterious entity known as the great Hand. This god, feared and revered, periodically takes newborns, leaving communities to grapple with loss and ritual alike. The protagonist is one of the many parents who has suffered such a fate, and the narrative follows their perilous quest to locate the deity and understand the power driving these abductions.
From a gameplay perspective, There Is No Light blends classic action role-playing mechanics with a rich combat system, numerous enemies, formidable bosses, and a robust skill tree. A standout feature is the karma system, which records player decisions and promises that those choices shape the fate of the world and its inhabitants. This emphasis on consequence creates a dynamic, replayable experience where every route and action can redefine the ending.
During a current promotion, There Is No Light is discounted by 10 percent on Steam, bringing the price to 449 rubles for eligible buyers.
