GameSir has introduced a wireless game controller named Tarantula Pro, built for cross platform play. The standout feature is a replaceable front panel that lets players swap the button layout to suit different ecosystems without needing a separate controller for each system.
The design centers on convenience. The Tarantula Pro supports mapping the front panel buttons to reflect Nintendo, Xbox, Steam Deck, and Windows control schemes, so a single device can cover multiple gaming environments. The switch is powered by a built in mechanism that updates the layout automatically. To switch the button map, just press the M button and the controller reconfigures the A, B, X, and Y inputs to match the selected platform.
A video demonstrates how the switch works, showing the fast and seamless transition between control mappings as the M button is pressed.
In addition to the adaptable front panel, Tarantula Pro includes HD Rumble for immersive feedback, NFC for quick pairing on compatible devices, vibrant RGB lighting, and nine assignable buttons. It also features two slide out rear buttons that expand input options while keeping the front face clear. A practical touch is the ability to wake the Nintendo Switch at the touch of a button, enabling instant resume from sleep when needed.
The Tarantula Pro is compatible with PC, Switch, iOS and Android. A 1200 mAh battery powers its wireless performance. Connectivity options include Bluetooth, USB and a 2.4 GHz wireless adapter, making it possible to pair with a wide range of devices and setups.
The pricing starts at 70 dollars for the standard version and 80 dollars for the version that includes a transparent acrylic charging station, giving shoppers a choice between a compact package and a display worthy charging dock.
GameSir previously introduced the budget controller T7, showcasing the company’s early approach to affordable cross platform gaming devices.
