The official Bethesda support page on Starfield provides a concise set of answers to common questions. The posts then note that the game is planned for a release in the first half of 2023 for PC and Xbox Series X/S.
Beyond that, the page offers little new detail. Early on, it’s recalled that Starfield’s launch was initially scheduled for November 11, 2022, but the release was deferred to 2023 with no precise date announced. Bethesda had previously indicated the game would arrive after Redfall, which rumors suggested could land in May.
After Starfield ships, Bethesda is expected to pivot toward TES 6, a project announced in 2018. Following that, speculation has circulated about a potential Dropout 5 entry in the franchise lineup.
