Studio 314 Arts has unveiled a new video for their upcoming first-person shooter Projekt Z, which places players in a World War II setting overrun by a zombie-infested environment. The team has also kicked off a crowdfunding campaign to support development.
The project aims to raise 105,000 dollars through crowdfunding. At the moment, around 16,000 dollars has been pledged, with 26 days remaining in the campaign.
Projekt Z is described by the developers as a free-to-play shooter that centers on a clandestine German island where Nazi experiments have turned humans into the undead. The setting blends wartime drama with horror, offering a backdrop that riffs on classic World War II narratives while introducing survival horror elements.
The game features both single-player and co-op play. A core mechanic invites players to craft and customize weapons within a dedicated hub, using resources they collect during missions. In addition, Projekt Z will include a distinct mode focused on surviving constant waves of zombies, challenging teams to coordinate strategy and endurance.
Steam users can add the title to their wishlist, signaling intent to purchase when available.
The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation has expressed interest in devices running only domestically produced software, a policy note that has attracted attention in tech circles and among gamers following regional digital governance debates.
