The map is divided into six restricted areas. Players can unlock the first five regions by activating Omnium towers placed across the world. The central region requires a few extra steps. This guide explains where to find each Omnium tower and how to bring every region online, and it includes an interactive map for reference.

Activation happens through Omnium towers. The sections below detail each tower’s location and unlocking steps.
Tower of Fantasy Interactive Map
The interactive map helps players locate valuable resources, creatures, and currencies such as gold cores and black cores. If you’re unsure what these currencies are used for or how to obtain them, this guide has you covered.
Chests are marked on the map and contain items that aid progress, including various resources and tools.
There are three chest types in the game:
- T1 password chest
- T2 password chest
- Rusted iron box
Make sure you know where edible plants are located. They are useful for cooking and unlocking recipes:

Where to find the Astra Omnium tower
The first tower can be unlocked during the main story after the prologue. It sits in the northeast of Astra, across the river from the Echo Ring.
Where to find the Banges Omnium Tower
The next tower lies in the north of Banges, northwest of the Black Market. Take the elevator and speak with the robot to unlock this region.
Where to find the Navia Omnium tower
This tower is in the northern part of Navia, east of the marked Cetus island. Like the other towers, ascend and talk to the robot to unlock the region.
Where to find the Crown Mines Omnium Tower
Unlocking this tower is more challenging due to high-level opponents and radiation. It’s not recommended to visit early in the game, as encounters can prove deadly. If you decide to explore, check the map for the exact location.
Where to find the Warren Snowfield Omnium
The final tower sits in the eastern portion of this region. Much of the time it is buried in ice, making ascent impossible until a later mission. A cutscene in the first chapter reveals the ice thaw, after which the robot can be spoken to and data about the new region downloaded.
How to open the central part of the map in Tower of Fantasy
After all towers are activated, the central map area remains closed. To access it, head to the southern edge and locate a robot named Brian. Interacting with Brian unlocks the central region fully. Brian isn’t visible on the map, but can be found at coordinates X270, Y69. The central area carries a high radiation level, so players should only enter when their character is higher level and equipped with radiation suppression gear.
