How to start the quest Hidden Valley, Secret Hero
The quest triggers automatically after solving the required puzzle in the previous quest, The Elder Scrolls and the Art of the Sword. That quest unlocks once you complete A walk through Wangshan Hall worth remembering.
How to complete the challenge and defeat your enemies
After you unlock the mechanism inside the library, descend the stairs and claim the contents of the precious chest. Activate the teleport nearby and travel to the improvised arena. Approach a device similar to the one you just activated and interact with it.
A tough trial awaits with multiple waves of enemies. Energetic streams appear in the arena and damage any character they touch. Watch for the red stripes on the platform to avoid taking hits.
The final foes are two geovishaps. If your team struggles, use dishes to bolster defense and increase damage output.
At the end of the skirmish, the water level drops and a luxury chest rewards the effort. To finish the task, exit the cave on the opposite side and inspect the sword lodged in the ground. Follow the marker to interact with it.

What secrets can be found in the cave?
Don’t rush to leave the area. If you already did, you can return later since the area is linked by a teleport. There are still secrets inside the cave, so when you come back, head straight to the library passage. On the right side you will spot a fork and a closed rack. Use Juan’s key to open it.
Inside a dilapidated building there is a sign on the floor. Kick it several times to reveal slime.
Now hurry to the neighboring locked building with a plain chest inside. Access it with two Geo Clusters. Break them apart and collect the crystalline shells to feed into the grid.
Another standard chest waits in the ruins on the far side. In the center of the cave, directly above the main mechanism, lies a collectible called the Spiritual Carp.
