In China, fans of Genshin Impact organized a sizeable poll to crown the most beloved female character. About 300 thousand participants weighed in, and the final list featured forty heroines. Nahida, the Archon of Sumeru who debuted as a playable character with Update 3.2, captured the top spot with close to forty thousand votes. Raiden, another Archon, trailed in second place with around thirty thousand votes. Eola led the charge behind this duo, and players have long awaited the opportunity to add her to their roster, with her last banner having appeared at the close of 2021. The two other Archons, Venti and Zhongli, did not place in the top ranks because they are voiced as male characters.
The bottom slot, fortieth, was claimed by Aloy from Horizon Zero Dawn. The second-to-last position belonged to guitarist Xin Yan.
