Mirage Veluriyam stands out as a distinct event venue added in Genshin Impact with update 3.8. It isn’t as expansive as the Golden Apple Archipelago, yet it hides a variety of riddles and puzzles to solve. This guide gathers all the intriguing secrets players may encounter while exploring the new map.

Note: Before venturing into the area, players should consider finishing the first story quest Summer! Theme park Mirage! This early step teaches core mechanics and unlocks much of the map.
How to open bubble chests
Bubble chests are scattered across the Veluria Mirage. Some unlock after defeating certain foes, while others lie behind bubble barriers.
To access these chests, search for a nearby drop—an odd creature that resembles a floating water sphere. Sometimes simply approaching and interacting suffices; other times a bit of timing or a small challenge such as hide-and-seek is required to catch the creature.
How to reach the cave in the east (turquoise flower)
Approaching the large flower in the narrative lets players pick from four main paths. A turquoise flower is said to lead to an eastern cave, but first another flower must be reached. To activate the path, step close to the drop and stay nearby for a few seconds.
A winding rail transformation will appear, allowing players to rotate the gibberish and move in the opposite direction. Along the route, three spheres must be collected to activate the transition to opposing rails.
Afterward, remember to click the right mouse button in time to ride the newly created rails and enter the eastern cave.
Inside there are two trials and a rich chest. Completing them requires collecting a set number of fluttering tomatoes (standard quest) and destroying certain shape balloons. Successfully finishing these tasks yields a precious chest in addition to standard rewards, along with a Celebration Coupon.
The cave exploration continues. Four-leaf symbols must be used to defeat and inspect the formers rich chest.
How to solve the statue puzzle and obtain the precious chest
Head to the marked area on the map and locate five Hydro statues. They must be activated in a specific sequence.

If all steps are completed correctly, a rich chest will appear next to the water drop containing ten source stones and one holiday voucher.

First, reach the gibberish marker to activate the teleporter within the cave. The corresponding map location is provided in this guide.
Next, collect all Hydrospheres to activate additional rails and clear obstacles in the way.
How to unlock the first streaming projector (first drop)
Climb the ladder, slide down, and you will see a drop that leads to a normal chest and the first part of the diary. Reading it is essential to activate the quest.
The drop triggers a buzzard event. Climb inside and follow the rails to higher ground.
This unlocks the first streaming projector, with three more to open.
How to Unlock a Second Streaming Projector (Second Drop)
A small cluster of fungi must be destroyed to access a regular chest and read the second diary entry. Slightly to the right, a descent appears; slide down and defeat the hilichurls guarding a trapped drop.
Follow the path as monsters reappear. Defeating them opens a regular chest and activates the second gibberish.
How to Unlock the Third Streaming Projector (Third Drop)
Proceed to the fresco, then turn left and pass through a hidden doorway. In the far area you will spot a coupon box.
Paimon will suggest following the gibberish rails. A dead end appears, but a left-hand passage leads onward. Run past it until another drop is found. To free her, use an elemental ability or a charged hydro attack. Follow her to obtain a regular chest.
Further, there are several four-leaf symbols and a small descent into the water. The treasure is a regular chest. Remember to extinguish flares, or the drop cannot progress.
Continue forward to encounter a Hilichurl camp led by a Shamachurl. Defeat them and inspect the regular chest.
How to Unlock the Fourth Streaming Projector (Fourth Drop)
Enter the loft and activate the third steam projector. On the way, another drop sits beside a rich chest that should be returned to later for pickup.
Follow the drop deeper into the cave, locate the fourth diary entry, and arrive at a small adit. Guide the drop through a grid and trigger the hydro statue, then interact with the other two. This opens another regular chest nearby.
Soon a group of monsters appears; defeat them and check the regular chest afterwards. By guiding the drop to the cave’s lower level, use Pyro and Cryo elements to interact with three monuments.
Interact with the drop and ask it to stand next to the Hydro statue. Activate Pyro and Cryo to proceed, then guide the drop back to the gibberish and head toward the stream projector.
How to restore a mural in a cave
Now interact with each stream projector and arrange the symbols as shown in the screenshots. The mural restoration creates a rainbow path that allows walking over to place the Colorful Cloud Swirl in the top left corner.
The mural is restored, and access to a luxury box is unlocked as part of the rewards.
How to get a luxury chest on the purple flower path
Head to the large flower and switch the rails to purple. Do not rely on movement along the way, because the path shifts in a different direction.
Here another challenge awaits: gather the required fluttering tomatoes and destroy various shape balloons to claim the luxury box.
