The game’s vast open world invites exploration across forests, deserts, snowcapped peaks, and other environments. Players will discover several major cities and settlements where they can meet non-player characters, take on quests, and trade gear. Encounters range from common wildlife to formidable bosses, offering a wide spectrum of combat and exploration experiences.

As characters level up within the open world, players can tailor playstyles by mixing different skills and abilities to craft distinct builds. A gear creation and upgrade system further deepens customization, rewarding thoughtful equipment choices and upgrades.

The world grants freedom to roam and interact with the environment, adding depth and replayability. For greater convenience, this guide highlights interactive maps designed to help players navigate and discover their preferred loot quickly.

Each map serves as a practical aid for locating key resources and destinations. The following sections spotlight notable areas within the game.

Location “Wernworth”

Wernworth stands as Vermund’s capital and lies south of the town of Melve. Advancing the main mission “In the Footsteps of the Dragon” and passing the bullock cart near the area called “Cleft stone of robustness” about midway through the town will make the route straightforward to follow.

For those choosing to walk, the primary road beneath provides a clear path. Travelers should bring supplies to restore health as needed.

The city hosts numerous buildings where players can relax, upgrade armor and weapons, or take on tasks. In addition, apprentices can gain advanced professions by completing the tasks “Disappointment in vocation” or “Feast of Deception.”

Location “Holy Gazebo”

The Sacred Bower is a village of elves located northwest of Vernworth. Access to the Holy Pavilion is not possible via ox carts, so reaching it requires a walk along the route.

To reach the site, exit Wernworth through the western gate and follow the main path northwest. The journey presents danger, with strong foes likely along the way, so it is wise to rest at a hotel before departure and carry camping gear.

At this location players can learn the skill ‘Heavenly Shot,’ place a return crystal for faster travel, or train a pawn to read elvish inscriptions.

Location “Bakbattal”

Bakbat language city of beasts lies south of Rest City. Progress through the main quests until the objective “Burning Flame Nation” unlocks access. From Rest Town’s checkpoint, proceed south along the main road to Bakbattal.

Travel by cart becomes possible only after completing the quest “Mercy Among Thieves,” with the initial journey often undertaken on foot. There is no fast travel point in the city, so players must set up a return crystal themselves. In Bakbattal, Maurice can be found to solve the riddle of the Sphinx’s uselessness and obtain materials for making quince in the quest “Myopic Ambition.”
