Atomic Heart has reached a major milestone and is officially complete in development, with the team confirming that no further core work is planned on the base game. The news was shared directly by the developers on the project page across social channels, signaling that the game has crossed into the final polish phase rather than ongoing feature work.

We want to tell you incredible news: Atomic Heart has gone gold. Thanks to our partners and everyone involved in this exciting project! And above all, thank you all for staying with us and supporting Atomic Heart. Can’t wait for February 21 to play.

With development wrapped, the creators will now focus on post-release support, including patches and additions planned to refine balance, fix remaining issues, and introduce new content. The team has outlined that there will be at least four updates following launch, each designed to enhance the overall experience and keep the community engaged well after release day.

The studio also released a new video that explores the intricate system that connects the underground structures within the secret facility known as Enterprise 3826. The footage offers a deeper look at the architectural layout, security corridors, and the way these underground networks influence gameplay, storytelling, and puzzle design.

The official launch date remains February 21, with availability across PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X and Series S. Players on all supported platforms can expect a detailed and immersive world, built to push the boundaries of the shooter and action-adventure genres, with rich visuals and a distinctive atmosphere that has drawn attention from fans and media alike.

Earlier, Mundfish released a set of high-fidelity, highly realistic screenshots that showcased the game’s environments and weaponry in striking detail. These visuals highlight how player progression and gear upgrades will visibly alter weapon appearances and performance as players level up and customize their arsenal on the journey through the game’s surreal and often unsettling world.

Note: while anticipation remains high across the community, players should stay tuned for official patches and expansions that will broaden the game’s longevity and replay value after the inaugural launch window closes.
