Social Bites covers social networks and messaging apps: what the features actually do, what goes into a platform upgrade and what makes two similar applications fundamentally different when one moves past the marketing page into its substance. We are not getting money from any side to write certain kind of coverage on any of these platforms and we don’t belong to any of them.
Our community is small and we like it this way — deliberately, not necessarily. Instead of making a commitment to cover everything in daily coverage style we would prefer doing things in our way — writing fewer but more accurate articles in comparison with what has been stated by the platform itself in its official Help Center or Changelog.
Here are some of the absolutes regardless of whether the project becomes bigger later. Everything we publish will have dates attached and if there is an update from the platform, it will be marked clearly as an update, not a revision. And in case of an article that was written by us based on our opinion (“Why has this app changed recently?”) we mark it accordingly.
Should there be something that is wrong or old, feel free to inform us. It is usually more efficient for us to get informed about this rather than discovering the same problem by ourselves.
