The SU7 is developed with the TZ220XS000 electric motor, produced by a joint effort with United Automotive Electronics Co., Ltd. The model is available in two configurations: a rear-wheel-drive version delivering 300 horsepower, and an all-wheel-drive variant with 673 horsepower. Battery supply varies by configuration, drawing from BYD and CATL as primary suppliers. The vehicle has a curb weight of approximately 1980 kilograms and a top speed of 210 km/h. An electronic toll collection system is included to allow toll road payments without stopping, enhancing long-distance travel efficiency.

Mass production for the Xiaomi SU7 was planned to commence in December 2023, with initial deliveries anticipated in February 2024. Trial production has already started at BAIC’s Beijing facility, with several dozen test units produced to date. Detailed specifications, including pricing and market rollout, were expected to be announced in subsequent updates.

This development underscores Xiaomi’s broader strategy to integrate cutting-edge consumer electronics with intelligent vehicle technology, aligning with industry trends toward connected mobility and autonomous driving capabilities.
