Xiaomi is gearing up to unveil two budget-friendly mini PCs, as reported by the GSMArena portal. The first compact machine, branded Xiaomi Mini Host, was teased online with imagery that hinted at a minimalist footprint reminiscent of Intel Nuc and Mac mini form factors. Inside, the device is expected to be powered by an AMD Ryzen 7 6800H processor paired with integrated Radeon 680M RDNA2 graphics, according to insider details.
The leak also notes that the mini PC will come equipped with 16 GB of RAM and a 512 GB solid state drive. Visuals from the preview renders suggest a metal chassis with two USB-A ports, a 3.5 mm audio jack, and a front-facing power button. The back panel connectors remain undisclosed, while the perforated side panels in the images indicate a focus on cooling and airflow.
Speculation places the price at about 4,000 yuan, roughly aligning with 35,000 rubles in current exchange terms. This pricing would place the Xiaomi Mini Host in the affordable segment for compact, high-performance PCs in its class.
Both the unnamed mini PC and the Xiaomi Mini Host are expected to be showcased during the Xiaomi 13 presentation. The event schedule has faced postponement amid wider national considerations following the passing of a prominent Chinese leader, which affected timing and communication surrounding the launch.
