Ahead of the Vision Pro mixed reality headset launch, Apple showcased several accessories on its site, including a Vision Pro carrying case priced at $199 (roughly 17,800 rubles at the exchange rate on January 21, 2024). Journalists at ZDNet noted this accessory with interest.
The case takes an oval shape and closes with a zipper. It features a rigid frame and a soft outer lining. Inside, the case is lined with microfiber to shield the headset from scratches on its glossy surfaces. A ZDNet reporter described Apple’s new device as oddly comfortable to handle.
A dedicated latch in one compartment secures the battery pack for the headset, while the main half holds the Vision Pro itself. The bag also provides slots for Zeiss lenses and has a retractable handle along one exterior edge for easier transport.
Pre-orders for Apple Vision Pro opened in the United States on January 19, 2024, with the product expected to reach retail shelves shortly after, on February 2.
Earlier remarks from Apple suggested that repairing the Vision Pro compares to purchasing the priciest MacBook model, highlighting the premium nature of the device and its components.
