Tele2 to rebrand ahead of 2025 after license expiry

Tele2 has revealed plans to undergo a rebranding in the coming months, a move confirmed by the operator through its press service and reported by TASS. The company stated that a rebrand would be completed before the year closes, with a fresh brand identity and market positioning to follow. The press office also noted that Tele2 has decided not to renew the license to use its Swedish name, a license that will terminate on December 31, 2024. This shift marks a significant chapter in Tele2’s corporate branding strategy as it transitions away from the legacy brand in the region, signaling a broader evolution of its consumer messaging and service positioning.
