Irkut Aircraft Corporation stated that there have been no formal complaints about the navigation system on the SSJ-100, according to TASS citing the company’s official spokesperson.
At present, Avia Briefing remains the only certified supplier of navigation databases for the SSJ 100. The spokesperson noted that operators of these databases, aside from Rossiya Airlines, have not filed official operational claims about the navigation system.
In the past, Russian airlines raised concerns about the performance of the imported navigation system on the SSJ-100 aircraft.
Reports from Kommersant indicate that several carriers, including Rossiya, Gazprom-Avia, and Red Wings, have voiced issues related to navigation system malfunctions and gaps in coverage. Yet many pilots reportedly do not classify these problems as critical to flight safety, according to the publication.
