Sony Details PS Plus Extra and Premium Additions for March
Sony revealed that PS Plus Extra and Premium subscribers will gain access to thirteen new titles in the upcoming catalog update. Among the highlights are the expanded basketball sim NBA 2K24, the tactical RPG Marvel’s Midnight Suns, and the 2020 horror classic Resident Evil 3, as noted on the PlayStation Blog.
In the March update, PS Plus Extra and Deluxe (Premium) subscribers will be able to play NBA 2K24 Kobe Bryant Edition, Marvel’s Midnight Suns, Resident Evil 3, LEGO DC Supervillains, Mystic Pillars: Remastered, Blood Bowl 3, Super Neptunia RPG, and Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot. This growing catalog reflects Sony’s ongoing strategy to broaden the library with a mix of sports, action, and role-playing experiences tailored to a wide audience.
Deluxe (Premium) subscribers will also receive access to selected titles from earlier generation consoles, including Jak and Daxter: The Lost Frontier, Cool Boarders, Gods Eater Burst, Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy, and JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure All-Star Battle R. These offerings help preserve classic experiences alongside newer games and demonstrate the service’s commitment to cross-generational play.
With the addition of these thirteen games in March, several previously available titles such as Ghostwire: Tokyo, Outer Wilds, Civilization VI, Code Vein, and others will depart the PS Plus catalog, as reported at the end of February. This migration shapes the evolving landscape of the service and creates new opportunities for players to discover both beloved favorites and fresh experiences.
In related developments, discussions around Google’s neural network research into autonomous gameplay continue to surface in tech and gaming circles, highlighting ongoing interest in AI-assisted play and procedural content generation. These conversations underscore the broader trend toward smarter, more responsive gaming ecosystems that can adapt to player preferences over time.
