According to Sber’s press service, Sber has begun producing Sber Line S smart TVs that utilize miniLED technology, signaling a notable expansion in the company’s consumer electronics lineup.

In total, the range includes 30 models featuring miniLED displays, enhanced sound systems, updated RAM configurations, and the Russian Salyut TV operating system, all designed to offer a more integrated and user-friendly smart TV experience.

The development of these smart devices is carried out in collaboration with Sber’s partner, SberDevices, which continues to drive innovation across connected home and entertainment solutions.

“Smart TVs represent a segment of consumer electronics with strong demand dynamics among Russian buyers,” commented Denis Filippov, CEO of SberDevices, underscoring the company’s focus on expanding in the living room tech space.

Filippov added that SberDevices will further advance the Salyut TV system and deepen its integration with GigaChat, aiming to provide seamless communication and multimedia capabilities within the smart TV ecosystem.

“We are seeing a steady rise in the market share of the Salyut TV operating system within the Smart TV segment, which stood at 6.4% by the close of last year,” Filippov noted, highlighting the OS’s growing footprint in entertainment and home automation.

Analysts expect continued growth in the smart home category, with sales of connected devices in Russia projected to rise significantly over the coming years as users seek more integrated, voice-enabled, and centrally managed experiences.
