Yandex Market, the e-commerce platform owned by the Russian tech group Yandex, has introduced a registered electronics brand named Lunnen. The announcement of Lunnen appeared officially on the service’s website, signaling Yandex Market’s expansion into a branded hardware lineup.

The initial Lunnen offerings consist of two laptops: Lunnen Grand 15 and Lunnen Grand 16. The Grand 15 features a 15-inch IPS display with a 1920 by 1080 pixel resolution, 512 GB of solid-state storage, a USB-C port, three USB-A ports, and an HDMI output. Its performance is driven by 16 GB of RAM paired with an eight-core AMD Ryzen 5 5500U processor.

In contrast, the Grand 16 sports a larger 16-inch display still delivering 1920 by 1080 resolution and the same 512 GB of storage. It offers two USB-C connections, three USB-A ports, and an HDMI port as well. Under the hood lies the eight-core AMD Ryzen 7 5800U and 16 GB of RAM, providing a bit more processing headroom for multitasking and demanding workloads.

Both models come with a metal chassis, claim up to seven hours of battery life on a single charge, and ship with Windows 11 Home pre-installed. The Lunnen Grand 15 is priced at 42,500 rubles, while the Grand 16 carries a price tag of 47,500 rubles.

Promotional materials published on the Yandex Market site hint at further Lunnen devices on the way, including a monitor or a tablet with a candy-bar form factor, suggesting a broader hardware ecosystem to accompany the laptops.

Earlier, Yandex augmented rewards for bug hunters, offering up to one million rubles for disclosures related to speakers, illustrating the company’s interest in expanding both hardware and security initiatives.
