Free Electronic App Library Launches to Help Canadian and American Teachers Diversify Lessons

In recognition of the Year of the Teacher and Mentor, Sferum is introducing a free electronic App Library designed to broaden lesson options with digital tools.

The initial rollout offers more than twenty practical recommendations on how to use the Sferum educational profile within VK Messenger to address library-related educational challenges. Looking ahead, the library will grow with fresh ideas contributed by teachers from across the country and beyond, turning it into a dynamic, collaborative hub for classroom innovation.

The library serves subject teachers, classroom instructors, and additional education professionals, providing ideas that support interactive learning tasks. Among the highlighted resources are a sample homework activity for students called “Guess a Literary Work,” an online exercise titled “Your Own Game,” and several other engaging approaches to learning that leverage digital tools.

The creators of the App Library include winners and participants of the Olympiad “Faces of the Spherum,” a group of more than two dozen teachers from various regions. The project invites educators to contribute by submitting ideas through a web form, helping to expand the resource for all users.

According to Ruben Akopov, head of the VK Sferum service, the team collaborated with teachers and methodologists nationwide to assemble the most compelling and useful lesson ideas that integrate the educational profile. The goal is to enable as many teachers as possible to incorporate modern technology into practice, to use digital tools efficiently, and to share experiences with colleagues across borders and regions.

Earlier, Sferum also launched an Online Marathon for Russian teachers, expanding opportunities for professional growth and collaborative learning.
