Apple device prices rise sharply in Russia across iPhones, iPads, and laptops

Over the last few weeks, Apple devices in Russia have seen notable price increases across the board. Laptops have carried some of the steepest hikes, with comparisons conducted on February 23 and March 15 highlighting the breadth of the shift. iPhones show price rises in the range of roughly 24 to 34 percent, tablets 13 to 34 percent, and laptops an astonishing 46 to 142 percent depending on the specific model. This assessment comes from the Price.ru service, whose analysts tracked the market carefully.

The surge in device costs has been pronounced, especially for laptops. Industry insiders note that many Russian professionals—from product designers to data analysts working with iOS developments—rely on portable Apple computers, so the jump in prices has a meaningful impact on budgeting and procurement. In several cases, certain models have doubled in price, and in one example the MacBook Pro MK1E3 registered an average price around 480,100 rubles, while the MacBook Z11B0004T reached about 302,700 rubles, according to expert evaluations.

Another notable change involves iPhone models. The iPhone 13 with 128 GB storage is reported to have risen by about 34 percent, bringing its price to around 96,000 rubles. The iPhone 13 Pro with 128 GB also climbed, by roughly 31 percent, near 126,000 rubles. Among older models, the iPhone 11 variants saw price increases of around 24 percent, with the 128 GB version priced near 61,000 rubles and the 64 GB variant around 56,000 rubles.

Tablet prices also moved upward. The iPad Pro lineup remained strong in the market, with the 12.9-inch model at 128 GB increasing by about 34 percent to roughly 131,000 rubles, while the 11-inch version with 128 GB rose to just under 86,000 rubles. In addition, the MacBook Air with the MGN63 chip experienced a price uptick of about 46 percent, placing it above 126,000 rubles.

Overall, consumers have seen a broad-based rise across Apple’s product family. Analysts point to the cumulative effect of multiple market factors, including currency shifts, supply chain pressures, and regional pricing strategies. The trend underscores how consumer electronics prices can vary dramatically even within a single brand, depending on the country and model. In related developments, some gamers have reported mechanisms to access digital content outside official channels, illustrating how market constraints can prompt adaptive shopping behaviors.
