The record price of an item in the game is $ 1,345 (about 120 thousand rubles at the exchange rate of June 15, 2024).
Most of the players on Banana are bots launched to earn items and then sell them. According to the developer of one of these services, some players use up to 1,000 accounts to get big drops. With a maximum online presence of 141 thousand people, the share of “real” players was approximately 30%.
Banana’s creators turned to Valve for help in combating the massive activity of bots, but the company has not yet responded to the developers’ requests.
