The new head of the Russian Accounting Chamber, Boris Kovalchuk, proposed controlling prices in the field of digitalization after the moratorium on auditing IT companies expires. In this respect reports RIA Novosti refers to the words of the statesman while speaking at the Court of Accounts.
According to him, digitalization is the most important area in the activities of the Court of Accounts, but the prices of products and services in this field need to be understood. Kovalchuk noted that a moratorium on business inspections was introduced a few months ago to support developers, but now authorities can start inspecting IT companies.
He also expressed concern that customers often do not determine who wins the contract and the decision is made through agreements between vendors and integrators.
“I know firsthand how the price of a product moves from seller to customer: dealer, middleman, integrator. I know most of the time the customer doesn’t even determine who wins, but it happens downstairs, through an agreement between the vendors and the integrator,” the official said.
Formerly State Duma approved Maksuta Shadayev, Minister of Digital Development of the Russian Federation.
