Old flagship Samsung smartphones will have the latest AI features

With the release of One UI 6.1, Samsung will add Galaxy AI features to its 2023 flagship devices. In this respect reports SamMobile version.

Galaxy AI features are built on Google’s Gemini AI. These services currently only work on Galaxy S24 series smartphones released in 2024. However, according to SamMobile, these features will soon be available on older devices Galaxy S23, Galaxy Z Fold 5, Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Galaxy Tab S9 series tablets.

The publication is based on a screenshot of the settings menu on the Galaxy Z Fold 5 smartphone, which has the beta version of One UI 6.1 installed, which recently began to spread on social networks. The screenshot shows the “Advanced Intelligence” item, which lists all the Galaxy AI functions available on the Galaxy S24 smartphones.

SamMobile noted that the only smartphone from the 2023 flagship series that will not receive Galaxy AI features will be the Galaxy S23 FE. The fact is that the Galaxy S23 FE is powered by Snapdragon and Exynos processors from the last generation that were released in the Galaxy S22 series.

Samsung is expected to release One UI 6.1 between the end of March and the end of April 2024.
