MTS subscribers talked 43.8% longer on the LTE network in 2023

According to MTS research data, by the end of 2023, more than a third (38.4%) of calls on the MTS network were made using high-quality voice transmission technology (VoLTE).

In December 2023, the Moscow region was the leader in VoLTE voice traffic share (50.7%), while VoLTE traffic increased by 7.2% compared to 2022.

St. In the St. Petersburg and Leningrad region, the share of VoLTE traffic in the same period was 43.1%, and the traffic itself increased by 17.9% during the year.

According to the company, VoLTE traffic is highest in the Ural (+121.2%), Siberia (+71.8%), Volga (+70.9%), Central (+46.3%, excluding the Moscow region) and the Far East (+71.8%) increased. +42.5% districts.

MTS reports that the top five federal regions in terms of the largest share of VoLTE traffic in December 2023 are Siberia (42.8%), Northwest (39.2%), Far East (38.8%), Central (excluding the Moscow region) and Ural added. 38.6% each).
