The MTS digital ecosystem has broadened the MTS Cashback loyalty program by adding cashback for hotel reservations, as confirmed by the operator’s press service.
Travelers who book a hotel through the MTS Travel service can now receive a cashback ranging from 2% to 5% of the total hotel cost.
Participants in the program can accumulate bonus points toward gadgets in MTS stores, subscriptions to the KION online cinema, or the Stroky book service, as well as other MTS Cashback options tied to mobile communications and related services.
The company noted that the refund percentage increases with higher-priced hotel bookings, creating a scalable incentive for travelers to choose longer or more expensive stays.
It was stated that typical nightly rates run in the low thousands of rubles, and the cashback earned after a short trip can effectively offset a portion of future expenses such as monthly mobile service, a concert ticket, or a device charger while supporting ongoing engagement with the ecosystem [Citation: MTS].
Cashback benefits are now extended to partner offerings within the MTS network, including opportunities to exchange rewards for Aeroflot miles or discounted rates on BelkaCar. Looking ahead, the company plans to let customers receive cashback by paying for reservations directly on MTS Travel [Citation: MTS].
“By integrating offers from ecosystem partners, we enable customers to use our best products in the most advantageous way,” stated a representative from MTS Group, focusing on Ecosystem Development and Marketing.
Vadim Melnikov, General Manager of the MTS Travel service, noted that an increasing number of users seek extra value when planning trips. He emphasized that the recharge accrual represents the first integration with the MTS ecosystem and provides an additional benefit for hotel bookings. Melnikov also highlighted upcoming synergies with other MTS services, including MTS Live and the KION cinema, with plans to expand further in 2023 [Citation: MTS].
