Residents of Russia were among the first owners in the world of the new flagship Galaxy S24 from South Korean manufacturer Samsung. MTS reported this to socialbites.ca.
MTS started giving pre-orders for the device on January 18 at 17:00 Moscow time, and the first to buy the new product was a Moscow resident. Thus, smartphones in the Russian Federation reached their owners a day after the official presentation.
In the first 24 hours alone, the number of Samsung Galaxy S24 pre-orders was 22% higher than previous generation devices. The most popular model was the Ultra version; It accounted for 75% of all applications. This is followed by the base model (17%) and the S24+ version (8%).
Prices for new smartphones range from 89.9 thousand rubles to 189.9 thousand rubles, depending on the configuration.
“We always strive to offer our customers major technological innovations among the firsts. Pre-orders in our retail network will last until February 13, and from today, all our customers who have pre-ordered or will pre-order before the end of this date will be able to receive new products,” the MTS retail network told socialbites.ca.
