By the end of the first quarter of 2024, Apple will most likely launch new MacBook Airs based on the M3 chipset. In this respect reports The MacRumors publication cites well-known insider and Bloomberg reporter Mark Gurman.
According to Gurman, Apple is developing two versions of the new MacBook Air. One will receive a 13-inch screen and the second will receive a 15-inch screen.
Since Apple updated the series relatively recently, in 2022, no changes to the design are expected. All innovations of the 2024 model will be included in the M3 chip.
The M3 chip launches in updated MacBook Pro models in late 2023. It is the first mass-produced computer processor created using three-nanometer process technology.
Gurman believes that the launch of new MacBook Air models could coincide with the launch of the new iPad Pro and iPad Air. The launch of the latter is planned for March 2024.
The launch of new laptops and tablets is expected to boost Apple’s profit growth in these product categories.
