Sberbank Health Industry Center Director Sergei Zhdanov, II. In his speech at the National Health Congress, he said that the most suitable situation for the inclusion of artificial intelligence technologies in the work of doctors has developed in Russia.

According to him, today’s technologies help doctors in their daily work, diagnosing and analyzing text data and visual research, allowing them to conveniently take care of their own health and that of their loved ones.

Zhdanov said that digitalization increases the accessibility of medicine, including in remote regions, and one of the driving forces of this process is telemedicine, which is actively developed by the SberHealth service.

He emphasized that Sber’s healthcare industry is actively developing, developing and implementing new and in-demand solutions for the healthcare industry – for example, remote monitoring of patients, analyzing medical images and helping doctors make diagnoses, artificial intelligence-based solutions to deliver healthcare. and beauty products and much more.

As an example, the director of the Sberbank Health Industry Center presented the “Smart Health Camera” to the congress participants, which allows everyone to independently conduct examinations and transfer information to the doctor.

It can be used to take photos or videos of the throat, nose, ears and skin. The device syncs with the SberHealth mobile app on your smartphone and transmits photos and videos to your doctor to evaluate your condition and make further recommendations.

The “smart health camera” was released in two versions for adults and children (in the shape of a giraffe) and is already available in most major markets and at the international exhibition at VDNKh and the Sberbank pavilion at the “Russia” forum.

“If a person’s personal involvement in taking care of their health is low, there will be no large-scale impact. People’s low level of awareness and motivation when making decisions about their health leads to a shortened life expectancy. Our common goal is to increase the level of medical literacy and awareness because a healthy lifestyle and prevention is the most effective way to reduce the need for medical care,” said Zhdanov.

He also added that in the near future, personal artificial intelligence assistants may emerge that will combine the broad functionality of various services to make informed decisions about their health. Based on big data principles, a single platform can be created where artificial intelligence will analyze medical data and highlight priority groups for medical examination, thereby reducing the burden on basic outpatient services.
