On a social network Weibo A video has emerged from the secret presentation of Chinese automaker Polestar’s first smartphone.
Judging by the leaked video, the Polestar Phone has a similar design to the existing Meizu 20 smartphones introduced by Meizu and Geely in the summer.
The video shows the rear panel of the device and allows you to see three camera modules with equivalent focal lengths of 23 mm (main), 70 mm (telephoto) and 15 mm (ultra wide-angle module).
The Polestar Phone smartphone has a flat screen with flat tips, like the Meizu 20. The only external difference between the smartphones of the two manufacturers is the Polestar branding engraved on the side edges.
It seems that Polestar Phone will be integrated into branded cars. A similar program is used in Meizu smartphones; This program allows you to pair the smartphone with cars from the parent company Geely, which runs on Flyme Auto firmware. Rumor has it that the Polestar OS system was developed jointly with Meizu.
The flagship Polestar Phone is expected to be available only in China. Its cost and the date of its official presentation have not yet been announced.
In September 2023, another Chinese manufacturer, Nio, introduced its smartphone. But unlike the Polestar gadget, Nio Phone turned out to be an independent device and was apparently developed without the participation of Meizu.
