The Chinese brand Meizu has unveiled its flagship, the Meizu 21, packing high-end hardware, a premium display, and a standout 200 MP main camera. This report comes via GSMArena.
Meizu 21 features a 6.55-inch flat OLED panel offering Full HD+ resolution, a 120 Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ support and a peak brightness of 1800 nits. The manufacturer highlights ultra-narrow bezels surrounding a 1.74 mm-wide display and an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor for biometric security.
Performance is driven by the top-tier Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, paired with LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.0 storage for fast app launches and data transfers.
The device’s headline 200 MP main camera is stabilized optically to keep shots sharp in varying light. In addition, there is a 13 MP ultra-wide camera, a 5 MP depth/portrait sensor, and a 32 MP front-facing camera. A distinctive ring flash with RGB backlight sits at the rear, adding creative lighting options for photography under challenging conditions.
Power comes from a 4800 mAh battery that supports 80W fast charging, enabling quicker top-ups between uses.
Software-wise, the Meizu 21 runs Android 14 with Flyme 10.5 layered on top. It also features a robust mEngine Ultra vibration system, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC and an infrared port to control compatible home devices.
In terms of design, the Meizu 21 closely resembles its predecessor. The frame is crafted from aerospace-grade aluminum, giving a solid feel. The phone measures 7.9 mm in thickness and weighs about 198 grams. IP54 dust and splash resistance adds a practical layer of durability for everyday use.
Pricing in China starts at 3399 yuan, which translates to roughly 42,300 rubles. There is no information yet about an international release outside China for the Meizu 21.
