Update 3.0 added to Genshin Impact new resources and tools to get them. For example, the Dendroculus Echo Stone appeared in the game. In this guide, we’ll explain what it’s for and how to get it.
What is the Dendroculus ultrasound stone used for?
When you activate this tool, you will see the location of the Dendrocules closest to you. These particles are used to raise the level of images of Dendro Archon. Their location is marked on the map.
In exchange for dendrocules, you will receive various rewards, including Source Stones, Adventure Experience, Sumeru Shrine Keys, Lush Flora Memory, and Seal Dendro, which are needed to level up the Dream Tree.
Similar mechanics were found in other regions. In Mondstadt, for example, we collected anemocules.
How to get Dendroculus Echo Stone. How to increase Sumeru’s reputation level?
To create this tool, you must meet these conditions:
- Reach Adventure Rank 35.
- Open the Sumeru location.
- Complete the tasks “Through Smoke and Dark Woods”, “One Hundred Fresh Roses Brings the Morning”, and “Recruit to the Brigade of Thirty”.
- Find Effendi and talk to him.
- Reach Reputation Level 8 in this region.
The location of Effendi is marked on the map.
This character is responsible for the reputation in this region. You can increase it in several ways:
- Research of the region. Open teleports, statues of Dendro Archons, dungeons and shrines and find chests.
- Passage of tasks of the world.
- Execution of orders to kill monsters. You can take up to 3 orders per week, which will take you from 60 to 100 reputation points.
- Helping citizens. You can meet them all over Sumeru.
- Finish daily shopping. To unlock them, complete the Morning Brings One Hundred Fresh Roses: Finale and Adventure Takes Courage missions! The second quest is given by Katerina in the city of Sumeru.
Keep in mind that all these activities should be done in Sumeru, not in other regions.
At level 1, reputation can only be increased by exploring and completing world missions. Killing monsters and helping civilians is unlocked at level 2.
You will receive rewards for increasing your reputation:
- 1st level: Butter Chicken recipe.
- 2nd level: drawings of scenery pieces for the Kettle of Serenity.
- 3rd level: drawing of the Big Tree Blessing tool.
- 4th level: personal card “Observation” and the recipe for the dish “Takhchin”.
- Level 5: drawing of the instrument “Prototype of an ultra-high temperature burner”.
- 6th level: drawings of scenery pieces for the Kettle of Serenity.
- Level 7: personal card “Impeccable” and the recipe for the dish “Biryani”.
- Level 8: drawing of the Dendroculus Echo Stone tool.
- 9th level: drawing of the Dendro Treasure Compass tool.
- Level 10: decorative glider “Wings of the Forest”.
We highly recommend purchasing Dendro Treasure Compass, which will make it easier to find chests. Other tools are less useful. Ultra-High Temperature Burner Prototype increases food processing efficiency at the expense of ore, and Great Wood Blessing makes it easier to collect wood. Buttered Chicken temporarily increases attack power, Tahchin restores health over time, and Biryani increases defense and healing. The rest of the items are only used for decoration.
We are interested in Dendroculus Echo Stone. When you reach reputation level 8 in Sumeru, open the alchemy workbench. A corresponding drawing should appear.
To make it, you will need the following resources:
- Mora (500);
- Crystal fragment (1);
- Lotus nilotpala (1);
- Rukkhashava mushroom (1).
Crystal Fragments can be found in the open world of the game in Teyvat. Focus on the map.
The nilotpala lotus only grows in Sumer.

How To Use Dendroculus Echo Stone?
- Open the Tools tab and equip the Dendroculus Echo Stone.
- Go to a location where there may be dendrocules.
- Activate the Echo Stone using the button in the lower left corner of the screen.
- The area where the nearest dendrocules are located is marked on the world map. Go there.
- You should see a small arrow on the minimap. She points in the direction of where to go to retrieve the nearest dendroculus. When you get as close to it as possible, the arrow disappears and an asterisk appears on the map. This is the exact location of the Dendroculus.
If the echostone could detect the dendrocules, it would be broken. To get a new one, you have to return to the alchemy table and recreate it. If there are no Dendrocules nearby, using the Echo Stone will not destroy it and you can use it again.
