A small independent studio OnceLost Games, founded by former Bethesda folks, has published the first journal on the development of an ambitious first-person fantasy RPG The wayward rich.
The developers dedicated the video to procedural generation systems, with the help of which the landscape, cities and dungeons in the open world of the role-playing will be created. According to the authors, all these systems are now in the pre-alpha stage – they will still be developed and improved. At the very end of the video you can see a few seconds of gameplay.

World The Wayward Realms will consist of hundreds of different islands with thousands of NPCs and warring factions. Players will visit cities, dungeons, forests, mountains, swamps and even the ocean where they will meet not only humans, but also elves, dwarves and orcs. The RPG is being worked on by Ted Peterson and Julian LeFay, who have released TES: Arena and TES 2: Daggerfall.
The studio also shared new concept art on Twitter.
The RPG doesn’t even have a rough release date yet, but it does have a Steam page.
