The maker of the comedy “One at Home 2: Lost in New York” about the adventures of Kevin McCallister finally revealed the most important secret of the film after 33 years.
Director Chris Columbus, who shot the first two parts of “One Home” with Macaulay Culkin, said in a new interview about one of the most important secrets of the second part. The director spoke about Camo Donald Trump, which ends up in the Plaza Hotel for a short time. As Chris Columbus said, he has always argued to remove this scene from the film, but unfortunately for the director the audience met very well. According to Columbus, “One House 2” was shown in Chicago, where the public applauded the moment Trump was shown. The scene was very popular and therefore it was decided to leave it.
The director admits that he was perplexed by the fact that the audience considered the scene with Trump Veselny. At the same time, years later, the hostility of Chris Columbus only grew against this episode of “Odino House 2”. Including because of the statements of Trump himself, who once said that the director reportedly “begged” the entrepreneur to shine in the film. The director notes that this is an absolute untruth. The entrepreneur was invited to shine only in one of the episodes, so that the authors were allowed to shoot some scenes of the film in the Plaza Hotel, which was at that time to Donald Trump. Chris Columbus himself would very much like the scene he talks about, would just disappear from the film.
The release of the “One at Home 2: Lost in New York” tape took place in 1992. The most important role of Kevin McCallister was played by Makole Kalkin.
