Netmarble has played an adventurous role -game in early access Game of Thrones: Kingsroad, based on the popular series with the same name, which in turn is based on the cycle of the novels of the Song of Ice and Flame, George R. Martin.
At the time of writing, the project has mixed reviews – a rating of 51%.
Now the game is sold for money (from $ 25 in the American region), but after a full release it goes to the F2P distribution model. By the way, the project is not available in the Russian region.
Game of Thrones: Kingsroad has an open world with which you can explore different kingdoms of Westeros, including the famous locations, such as the Royal Harbor and the Wall. The main character is the illegal son of a small house in the north (Tira’s house), who wants to restore the honor of his family after the death of the brothers and the approaching threat of winter.
Among the characteristics, an intriguing storyline, ARPG fights (combat mechanics with avoidance, parrying and unique skills), various classes (Knight, Mercenary and Assassins) and Cooperative are also distinguished. Based on the description, there is also a single mode, but in the reviews some gamers complain about the required constant connection to the internet.
Later the project is released on iOS and Android. Early access will take at least four weeks.
