Publisher New Blood Interactive and developer Hyperstrange have announced the Dead Man’s Promise add-on for the Western first-person shooter Blood West, which came out last year to very positive reviews on Steam.

“A promise is made, a deal is made, your soul is signed as collateral for your debt to the God of Death. Now your benefactor seeks to claim his due, and sends his messenger to ensure that you keep your word….” – the description says.
In the DLC, gamers will find a new story chapter, additional abilities, new weapons and monstrous enemy types. According to the developers, some of them will be able to enter the character’s mind and kill him.
The first trailer for Dead Man’s Promise showed gameplay footage and some innovations. The character will be able to use the power of the shaman to deal with opponents.
The exact release date for Dead Man’s Promise has not yet been announced, but there is already a page on Steam.
