Steam has published the full system requirements for Horizon Zero Dawn remastered. For maximum graphics settings, the rerelease requires a GeForce RTX 3060 and 16 GB of RAM.
The updated version of the game receives re-recorded dialogues, support for DualSense features and some features of Horizon Forbidden West, as well as graphical improvements and the ability to carry over saves to the sequel. For a comfortable game, you should focus on the following hardware requirements:
- Operating system: Windows 10;
- Processor: Intel Core i3-8100 or AMD Ryzen 3 1300X;
- RAM memory: 16 GB;
- Video card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB or AMD Radeon RX 5500 XT 4GB;
- SSD: 135GBGB.
Recommended:
- Operating system: Windows 10;
- Processor: Intel Core i5-8600 or AMD Ryzen 5 3600;
- RAM memory: 16 GB;
- Video card: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 or AMD Radeon RX 5700;
- SSD: 135GBGB.

Let’s not forget that the original was more modest in requirements: it was recommended to run the game on a GeForce GTX 1060 with 6 GB of video memory for good graphics. The re-release’s ‘systems’ are virtually identical to Horizon Forbidden West, which was released on PC in March this year.
Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered will be released on October 31 for PC and PlayStation 5. The game requires a PSN connection and is therefore not sold in a number of countries.
Previously, users compared the images in the original and updated Horizon zero dawn.
