Background: Runway Gen-3, a new neural network for video creation. We show examples of work and tell you how to use it
Neural networks are developing at a rapid pace. Every week there are dozens of new programs that do the work of artists, animators, voice actors and even video game developers. In this article we have collected the most interesting neural networks that appeared on the Internet during the second month of summer.
Blade AI
A neural network from Beijing-based Kuaishou, known as TikTok’s main competitor, Kling AI lets you create videos of up to 120 seconds, at 30 frames per second and 1080p resolution. Excellent metrics that rival what OpenAI’s Sora offers.
According to Kuaishou representatives, their program can handle complex physical models. True, in reality, not everything is so perfect. For example, desynchronization can occur between moving objects, causing one object to move faster than the other.
Until July 25, this neural network only worked in China. Registration is now open to users from any country. Anyone can create six videos of up to five seconds for free.

GPT-4o mini
OpenAI, which we mentioned above, released a mini version of GPT-4o in July. This is a replacement for the older GPT-3.5, which is no longer available. The new version of the neural network is weaker than the flagship, but can still provide all the functions that an average user needs. It works with text, images, video and audio, searches the necessary information on the Internet and solves simple problems. And for specialized purposes, applications from third-party developers are used.
Do you think neural networks can completely replace the work of artists?
Track Gen-3
Runway Gen-3, which allows you to create short videos, has been available to everyone since July 2. Its main feature is the focus on realistic images of human faces and emotions. We described this program in more detail in a separate article.
Codestral Mamba
A new neural network from Mistral allows you to generate new lines of code for programs and correct syntax errors. According to representatives of the French company, Codestral Mamba can be an excellent assistant for local coding.
Mathematical
And with this development of the company Mistral you can perform complex mathematical calculations. It can be useful for students and teachers, but also for engineers who perform computer-related tasks.
FLUX
A new neural network from programmers who worked on Stable Diffusion. It is designed to create images based on text queries. Among the available options there is a completely free version, with no restrictions on time and number of generations. Note that users from Russia can also experiment with the possibilities of FLUX.
Suno AI
Suno AI generates music based on text queries. In December 2023, it was integrated into Microsoft operating systems as a plug-in for the virtual assistant Copilot. And on July 1, 2024, a version for mobile phones based on iOS and Android was released. Thanks to this, you can experiment with the capabilities of this neural network at any time, even on the go.
Do you use neural networks? Or are they not interesting to you at all? Share your thoughts in the comments!
